Today, The New York Times takes a major step into virtual reality. In collaboration with Google, the Times is delivering Google Cardboards to its US subscribers and offering a new form of storytelling experience. It could be a major development in virtual reality and shape the future of news – please let us know what you think.
If you already have a Google Cardboard device, download the NYT VR mobile app (we’ve included the links below). Even if you don’t have Cardboard, you can still use the App to experience the stories in a 360 degree immersive videos.

The NY Times VR stories
War has driven 30 million children from their homes by war and persecution. The Times focuses on three of them: an 11-year-old boy from eastern Ukraine named Oleg, a 12-year-old Syrian girl named Hana, and a 9-year-old South Sudanese boy named Chuol.
